Peter E. Flynn

Attorney Peter E. Flynn has been dedicated to serving the community since 1978.

He graduated from Bowdoin College and earned his law degree from New England School of Law. Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1978, Attorney Flynn began his distinguished legal career as Assistant Attorney General, where he served for five years. During this time, he represented state agencies in a variety of significant eminent domain cases, including those involving the Massachusetts Highway Department.

In 2000, Attorney Flynn secured one of the largest jury verdicts in the state, the 4th largest at the time. He later achieved the largest reported eminent domain jury verdict in Plymouth County history—a landmark decision that awarded $5.175 million to a landowner for the taking of a 33.56-acre parcel in Kingston. He also has the highest Eminent Domain jury verdict in the history of Essex County and Bristol County

His current practice continues to focus on a wide range of legal matters, including eminent domain, insurance defense, and various governmental and development issues. Attorney Flynn has extensive experience in land use and G.L. c. 40B comprehensive development, providing expert representation for both private landowners and state agents.
